I thought I would just say hello and welcome all competitors and members to the 2009 racing season. I am not coming out of retirement to race (a bit old now at nearly 80) but I thought I would keep in touch a bit more and come and see you all racing in true OCR style - both on and off the water i.e.bar!!

Despite the credit crunch 2009 promises to be a good year for OCR with competitors from the SE and the SW joining together to make for some exciting races. Its really encouraging to see some new blood coming through as well as my old friends and long term competitors who have supported OCR for many years.

Hopefully the 2009 start line will be a good one!
